Dental insurance is designed to reward prevention, which is why routine services like cleanings and exams often receive the highest coverage.

With Delta Dental Premier, you have access to the largest nationwide in-network dentists in America. This means they accept pre-negotiated fees, helping your dollar stretch just a little further with predictable costs.

Our practice is proudly in-network with Delta Dental Premier, so you can be confident you’re getting the best price for your care. Our front-desk team will happily verify your coverage, file claims on your behalf, and help you understand your benefits. We believe patients should be able to focus on their smiles instead of paperwork.

Delta Dental Premier Coverage Availability & Fees

Coverage varies by plan, but many of Delta Dental’s offerings follow a familiar 100–80–50 structure. This means that:

  • Preventive and diagnostic services, like exams, cleanings, X-rays are often covered at or near 100 percent.
  • Basic services, such as fillings, simple extractions and root canals are covered at around 80 percent.
  • Major services, including crowns, bridges, dentures, are generally covered by 50 percent.

Typical deductibles are about $50 per person and $150 per family per calendar year. Annual maximums commonly range from $1,000 to $2,000 per person. Visiting a Premier dentist means fees are limited to Delta Dental’s contracted amounts (the maximum plan allowance), which helps protect you from surprise charges. However, going out-of-network can lead to balance billing above plan allowances.

Premier also offers the broadest national network, making it easier to stay in-network if you move or travel. Depending on your specific plan, waiting periods, frequency limitations, and separate rules for orthodontics may apply. So, be sure to bring your card and we’ll put together an estimate before you move forward with any procedures.
